This question type reminds me of Fill In The Blanks that we all used to do in schools. So the good news is, such type is available in IELTS as well. They test your reading ability by giving you some incomplete sentences which you have to complete by inserting right information.

🔷 HOW IS IT DONE??

Well, in Sentence Completion, you are given some incomplete sentences as well as a list of options. What you have to do is to choose the most appropriate option and complete the sentence. These questions are also in an order.

🟡 Complications to look out for

🔍 Do not actively search for the same words, most of the times, it is synonyms or a different way to put the same thought.
📖 You do not need to have a comprehensive knowledge of the paragraph at the hand, just look for the sentence to complete, and just complete it with given words. No need to repeating the same passage over and over for the an indepth analysis.
✏️ Grammar? Do not overlook it. If the blank in the answer only fits noun, the answer is noun. Even if the answer in the text is verb or any other form, you need to write the answer in the correct grammar in given sentence.

🔶 Tips
✅ They are in order. This makes it so simple, and also they are not really that far apart either. You fill in the one answer correctly, and it just makes it easier to fill in the next one.
✅ Think about the form of the word you are missing. Should it be noun, adjective or verb? You can easily eliminate many words by just following this strategy. If the noun makes sense, all the given verbs cannot go in the sentence.
✅ Predict before searching. Not only form, but even the kind of word it should be, and where in the paragraph should it lie.

“The population explosion in Pakistan has led to an increase in challenges throughout the country. Some of the most particular ones are rise in crime rate, unemployment, limitation of resources, and escalation of environmental problems. Because of the lack of awareness regarding family planning, it is paving way for numerous other issues.”
